Description:

In the poignant drama Tsuyukusa, Fumi embraces a wholesome existence among friends in a quaint town. Her quiet life takes an extraordinary turn when her car is hit by a meteorite, an event so improbable she believes it signals a fortunate new beginning. This hope strengthens with the arrival of Shinoda Goro, a former Tokyo dentist seeking a fresh start in her town. Shinoda carries a heavy burden, having failed to prevent his wife's suicide. Fumi, who herself endures the profound sorrow of losing her son in an accident, is deeply moved upon witnessing his lonely figure playing a tune on a leaf in a park. As these two souls, each bearing their own deep emotional scars, tentatively navigate their shared pain, an awkward yet powerful connection blossoms. Through their growing closeness, Fumi's life, which had been at a standstill, gradually begins to move forward again, embracing a renewed sense of purpose and healing.
