Sisters on the Road unfolds as Myeong Eun returns to Jeju island following the sudden death of her mother. Arriving at her childhood home, she reconnects with her sister, Myeong Ju, Myeong Ju's daughter, and Hyeon Ah, a beloved figure who has resided with them like a relative for over twenty years.
