"Samurai Cat" introduces Kyutaro, a once-feared swordsman now living in quiet poverty. Unable to earn money through conventional means and knowing only his blade, Kyutaro faces dire circumstances. By chance, Sakichi observes Kyutaro's exceptional swordsmanship and proposes an unusual job. Sakichi wants Kyutaro to eliminate a white cat named Tamanojoh, which has captivated his boss, Yozaemon. According to Sakichi, Yozaemon became a childlike person after acquiring the feline. Kyutaro initially rejects the request, deeming it absurd, but his desperate need for money ultimately sways him to accept the task. As the seasoned warrior opens the door to confront his target, he is met with the surprising sight of a truly lovely white cat, creating an unexpected turn for the samurai.
