The film OUT delves into the harsh lives of four women working the graveyard shift at a Japanese bento factory, each grappling with overwhelming personal struggles. Masako, the accepted leader, feels isolated from her family. Kuniko battles significant debt and a persistent loan shark after being left by her boyfriend. Yoshie, a single mother, reluctantly cares for her mother-in-law, partially paralyzed by a stroke. Yayoi, a mother of two young boys, lives in constant fear of her drunken, gambling husband harming her or their children.

One night, Yayoi discovers her husband has gambled away all their savings. In a fit of rage, she strangles him to death. Overwhelmed and desperate, she persuades Masako to help her, who then involves Yoshie and Kuniko in a harrowing pact to dispose of the body. This intense thriller explores the extreme lengths these women are driven to when pushed to their absolute limits.
