Nagareboshi tells the poignant story of Natsuko, whose cold, long-term marriage to Kensaku ends abruptly with his sudden death. Left alone, she is visited by Mari, a mysterious wizard who grants her up to four wishes. Natsuko’s first, profound wish transports her 50 years into the past, to a time before she ever met her husband. There, Natsuko encounters young Kensaku, her own younger self, and her father, Shintaro. Adopting a false identity, she embarks on a quest to uncover hidden truths and understand the foundational moments that shaped her life and relationships. As her limited time in the past draws to a close, Natsuko confronts a complex tapestry of revelations and emotions.
