Description:

My 11th Mom follows Jae Su, an 11-year-old navigating a brutal existence. His father is an abusive, gambling, and jobless man, forcing Jae Su to survive independently, carefully managing food stamps and juggling multiple part-time jobs. One day, his father introduces yet another woman into their home. Initially appearing as a glamorous bar girl, she quickly transforms into a tired, disheveled woman who consumes all their food when not in deep hibernation. Jae Su, having dealt with many of his father's companions, considers this one the absolute worst.

However, a mutual opponent emerges in the form of his father's escalating violent abuse. This shared threat compels Jae Su and the woman to forge an unexpected alliance. As they bond against the oppressive violence, their initial antagonism gives way to a profound connection. Their deep empathy for each other blossoms into a powerful familial love, offering solace to their lonely souls. But just as this unique bond solidifies and they begin to accept each other, circumstances take an unforeseen turn, challenging their newfound happiness.
