Description:

The live-action drama Mirai Nikki delivers an exciting original story distinct from the manga. The plot revolves around twelve ordinary people who suddenly receive a future diary on their mobile phones. This extraordinary device allows them to write down predictions that actually come true. However, they soon realize they are trapped in a deadly survival game. To win, they must use their diaries to kill each other until only one remains to claim the ultimate prize: the God’s seat. At the center of this chaos is Hoshino Arata, played by Okada. Arata is a lazy college student who dislikes putting in effort and has no plans for his future. His peaceful, unmotivated life is shattered when he gets a future diary on his phone and gets dragged into the survival game. Now, Arata must fight to stay alive in this high-stakes battle.
