The inspiring drama movie Marathon tells the heartwarming story of ChoWon, a twenty-year-old autistic young man played by Cho SeungWoo. Despite his condition, ChoWon has adjusted well to society through special schooling and physical activities, discovering a remarkable talent for running. He lives with his highly protective mother, KyungSook, played by Kim MiSook, and his younger brother, Baek SungHyun, who sometimes resents the attention his older brother receives. After ChoWon places third in a race, his mother decides to hire a proper coach to train her son. Inspired to push his limits, ChoWon decides to take part in a demanding marathon. He hopes to break the marathon's fastest record of three hours. This touching film beautifully captures the bond of family and the power of human spirit.
