Love Forward is an emotional romance drama following the lives of Zeng Ai Xing and Meng Jing Jing. Initially sworn enemies, the streetwise Ai Xing and the stubborn, wealthy Jing Jing become inseparable best friends chasing their dreams. Ai Xing strives to escape poverty, while Jing Jing searches for a family to love. Their lives intertwine with Du Tian Ze, a kind pro bono lawyer whom Jing Jing loves, and Ren Wei, Ai Xing's real estate boss.

When a tragic accident separates Tian Ze and Jing Jing, a heartbroken Tian Ze moves in with Ai Xing. Though Jing Jing eventually returns with amnesia, she and Tian Ze remarkably fall in love again. However, financial ruin strikes Jing Jing's family, forcing her into the manipulative schemes of Ren Wei. As Jing Jing is pressured to find love with Ren Wei, Ai Xing finds comfort in Tian Ze, sparking a chaotic disaster that tests their bonds of love and friendship.
