Love & Farm is an engaging ensemble dramedy that follows six spoiled university students who travel from Tokyo to Hokkaido for a mandatory three-month agricultural training course. While studying at an agricultural university, these young students have no real desire to become farmers, but they need the academic credits to graduate. Among them is Takashi, played by Tetsuji Tamayama, the most reluctant student of the group who ironically originates from the very farm they are visiting. Alongside Takashi, classmates Tohei (Keisuke Koide), Ryota (Atsuhiko Nakata), Ayaka (Saki Aibu), Mihoko (Karina), and Kazumi (Erika Toda) each bring their own personal struggles to the countryside. As they confront the harsh realities of daily life for dairy farmers and endure grueling physical labor, their perspectives begin to shift. Through shared hardships and touching experiences, these reluctant students gradually learn to appreciate the true value of life, overcome their individual problems, and finally transform into mature, self-aware adults.
