In the comedy thriller Hello Murder, rookie detective JeongMin Kim DongWuk is struggling to survive his stressful new job. Aside from dealing with a boss who openly dislikes him, he is secretly studying for a public service exam to find a way out. However, his life becomes even more chaotic when a serial killer strikes the neighborhood. Furious that the uncaught murderer is causing local home values to plummet, the outraged residents organize a major protest right in front of the police station. To JeongMin’s absolute horror, the loud demonstration is led by his own mother, who works as the general affairs manager for the local women’s association. Caught between his embarrassing family, angry neighbors, and a demanding career, JeongMin realizes he has no other choice. To stop the chaos and prove his worth, the rookie detective decides he will catch the elusive serial killer once and for all.
