In the hilarious Hong Kong comedy Boys Are Easy, a lonely widower father played by Richard Ng schemes with his son, Jimmy Lin, to finally get his three daughters married. To force their hands, the father fakes a terminal diagnosis of testicle cancer, prompting his daughters to rush home with fake boyfriends to placate their dying parent. Brigitte Lin stars as Ching Siu-Tung, a tough cop who recruits Tony Leung Ka-Fai, the King of Gigolo Karaoke. Maggie Cheung plays Nam, a sweet social worker who brings home a wacky triad member played by Jackie Cheung. Meanwhile, the youngest sister, played by Chingmy Yau, tricks a twenty-seven-year-old virgin, Dior Cheng, into acting as her partner by pretending to be a poor hooker.
