Description:

Wannabe U centers on Han Seo Ha, a bright and cheerful middle schooler with an unwavering passion for singing, who dreams of enrolling in the esteemed Hanlim Multi Art School. Her aspirations are constantly overshadowed by her older sister, Seo Jin, a sophomore at Hanlim’s Practical Music department, admired for her girl group center aura and exceptional piano skills. Despite Seo Jin's musical talents, she doesn't possess Seo Ha's raw vocal ability.

As Seo Ha strives to achieve her dream, she navigates the competitive world of performing arts. She crosses paths with Cha Su Ho, a popular Hanlim sophomore skilled in both piano and vocals, whose aloof demeanor hides a captivating presence. Adding complexity is Do Chae Ah, another talented Hanlim sophomore who harbors a strong resentment towards Seo Jin, creating tension within the school. With the eccentric support of her best friend, Ban Da Yul, who offers quirky advice through tarot cards, Seo Ha must confront her insecurities, carve her own path, and ultimately prove her unique talent to shine brightly in her own right.
