In the compelling film "Through a Lens Darkly," seemingly indifferent office worker Mo finds his life upended after a harsh scolding from the chairperson of the Owners Corporation. What starts as a simple act of voyeurism quickly unravels a fascinating tapestry of hidden secrets. Mo observes the sunny fitness coach, the promiscuous dance instructor, the kind kindergarten teacher, the loving professor couple, and the quiet domestic helper, each concealing their own truths. The drama intensifies dramatically when Mo spots his wife, Ling, in a neighbor's flat, shattering their tranquil marriage and plunging their lives into turmoil. As Mo digs deeper into the clandestine affairs of those around him, he paradoxically understands less and less about his own wife. "Through a Lens Darkly" explores how, despite the city's bright lights, darkness and untold secrets profoundly lurk within every household.
