The Last Blossom is a deeply moving drama film directed by Min Gyoodong, based on the acclaimed novel by Noh Heekyeong and the hit 1996 television series. The story revolves around Inhee, played by Bae Chongok, a dedicated and family-oriented woman who has spent her life being taken for granted by her loved ones. Her husband Jeongchol, played by Kim Kapsoo, is a doctor who always prioritized his career over family. Her daughter Yeonsoo, played by Park Haseon, and her son Jeongsoo, played by Ryoo Deokhwan, have both grown increasingly harsh toward her. On top of that, Inhee must care for Jeongchol's mother, Kim Jiyeong, who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. The family's dynamic is shattered when they discover Inhee has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and has little time left. Realizing their mistakes, they finally come together to provide the love and support she deserves before she must say goodbye.
