Based on the novel by Mu Rong Yan Er, The Glamorous Imperial Concubine, also known as Qing Shi Huang Fei, is a historical drama set in the chaotic and bloodstained Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. The story follows Ma Fu Ya, played by Ruby Lin, the beautiful princess of the Kingdom of Chu, who seeks revenge and struggles to revive her perished state. On her journey, she is caught up in the affections of two supreme rulers: Qi You, played by Yan Kuan, the ruler of the Kingdom of Shu, and Lian Cheng, played by Wallace Huo, the ruler of the Kingdom of Northern Han. Thrown into the dark reality of the royal harem, Ma Fu Ya finds herself entangled in schemes and betrayal. To survive, she must learn to fight back. With interests and kingdoms at stake, love and power collide in this struggle where tough choices must be made.
