Description:

Takasugi-san Chi no Obento follows the touching journey of Takasugi Harumi, a 31-year-old college graduate grappling with unemployment. His life is irrevocably altered by the sudden death of his aunt, Miya Harumi, who was like a sister to him. This tragedy leaves Miya’s 12-year-old daughter, Kururi, an orphan with no one to lean on. Despite his own challenges, Harumi steps up to care for the grieving Kururi. However, the young girl is deeply affected by her mother’s passing and keeps her heart tightly sealed, creating an emotional distance between them. It is through the heartwarming tradition of "obento," carefully prepared Japanese lunch boxes, that Harumi discovers a unique way to bridge this gap.
