Sunshine Womens Choir is a touching drama that explores hope and redemption in the most unlikely place. Inside a womens prison, a baby girl is born to the sound of a birthday song, welcomed by four inmates who are each burdened by a painful past. The delicate peace of their shared life is soon disrupted when a rebellious newcomer arrives, sparking tense clashes that eventually give way to an unexpected, deep friendship. However, tragedy strikes when the sweet baby girl is diagnosed with a severe eye disease.
