Sea of Revival tells the compelling story of a man facing an abrupt change in life after being fired from his printing plant job. Seeking a fresh start and a new direction, he, his girlfriend, and her daughter relocate to her tranquil hometown of Ishinomaki in Miyagi Prefecture. There, his partner courageously opens a beauty salon, symbolizing their hopes for a peaceful new beginning by the sea. Initially, their days are filled with harmony and a sense of calm as they settle into their new environment. However, this fragile peace is gradually disrupted by a series of small, accumulating problems. These seemingly minor issues steadily escalate, eventually leading the family into a precarious and challenging situation that threatens their newfound stability and tests the very foundation of their bond.
