Description:

Saito-san is a compelling drama that follows Saitou Masako, a mother raising her young son alone while her husband works. Known for her unyielding sense of justice, Masako never hesitates to confront those who break societal rules. While children adore her, the other kindergarten mothers avoid her to escape conflict. Enter Mano Wakaba, a softspoken mother who recently moved to the neighborhood with her son, Takeru. Desperate to fit in, Wakaba tries to please the local mothers, even if it means keeping her distance from Masako. However, when Takeru is accidentally burned by a smoker, Wakaba tries to overlook the incident, but Masako steps in to demand an apology. A scuffle breaks out, the smoker flees, and onlookers applaud Masako's bravery. Left in awe, Wakaba finds herself drawn to Masako. As life pushes them together, Wakaba faces a difficult choice: continue bending over to please the conformist mothers or stand beside Masako and risk social alienation.
