Description:

In the tumultuous late Sui Dynasty of ancient China, the inept Emperor Yang Di's indulgences leave the country in chaos, with power seized by his ruthless right-hand man, Yang Su. Building an underground fortress, Yang Su commands numerous assassins, including the highly skilled Hong Fu. When the patriotic young man, Li Jing, arrives hoping to reverse the nation's decline, Yang Su views him as a dangerous threat and orders Hong Fu to eliminate him.

However, Li Jing's fervent passion for the commoners awakens a hidden desire within Hong Fu to alleviate the people's misery.
