Qayamat plunges into the life of Ifrah, a spirited young woman whose fate is consistently shaped by the choices of those around her. From a humble background, Ifrah and her family believe in honesty, but their world shatters when Ifrah's elder sister, Samra, is married off to Rashid without her approval. Samra endures horrific domestic violence and mistreatment from Rashid, culminating in her tragic death after a violent push, also claiming the life of her newborn daughter.
