"Oops! I'm in Jail" delves into the life of Zhi Yao, a once-rising Taekwondo star forced into early retirement by injury. His subsequent gambling addiction plunges him into massive debt. Coerced by nefarious forces, he takes on a harrowing role as a prison administrator, specifically tasked with supervising the powerful prison boss, Chihuahua. Initially believing himself to be the most unfortunate soul, Zhi Yao soon witnesses the utterly miserable existence of his colleagues. These new administrators endure daily ridicule, brutal beatings during riot control, and even get sprayed with feces, while paradoxically having to placate and almost serve the inmates. Under the suffocating system, Zhi Yao lives on the brink of death, especially as instructor Jiang Yi Jie observes his unique connection with Chihuahua. He discovers that 'corporate slaves' in this system are arguably more confined than the prisoners. Amidst the absurdity and cruelty, Zhi Yao and his companions gradually develop strong bonds of friendship and love, supporting each other and ultimately finding true meaning in their challenging profession.
