Modern Farmer is a delightful comedy drama that follows the crazy journey of a rock band that decides to take up farming as an escape route. The story centers on ExSo Excellent Souls, a band founded by Lee Min Ki, a genius rocker who serves as the leader, vocalist, and guitarist, along with drummer Han Ki Joon. Rounding out the band are the bass guitarist Yoo Han Cheol and the cynical keyboardist Kang Hyeok, who is also a medical student from a family of doctors spanning generations. As these musicians attempt to navigate their new rural lifestyle, drama unfolds. Tension rises as Lee Min Ki and Kang Hyeok find themselves caught in a complicated love triangle with the lead female character.
