Madam Cutie on Duty follows Priscilla Wong, a beauty-obsessed police officer who firmly believes looks change lives after undergoing plastic surgery. When a prostitution case reveals a loanshark company operating inside a public housing community, Priscilla and fellow CID officer Edwin Siu are sent to act as a couple to obtain information. To blend in with the Housewives Trio of Mandy Wong, Kaki Leung, and Rachel Kan, Priscilla must give up her fancy wardrobe and adopt housewife habits. Meanwhile, Edwin works as a technician, earning the nickname Sewer King and attracting many admirers. This sparks jealousy in Priscilla, despite her crush on the popular guy Hugo Wong. As the undercover duo argue their way through the case, they slowly develop feelings for each other. However, the investigation takes a turn when the Housewives Trio act suspiciously, followed by the appearance of a mysterious woman who complicates everyone's relationships.
