Description:

Based on the manga by Rokuhana, the drama IS - Otoko Demo Onna Demo Nai Sei explores the deeply moving struggles of living as an intersexual. The story centers on Hoshino Haru, played by Fukuda, who biologically possesses characteristics of both sexes. Although registered as a girl at birth, Haru has been raised as a boy and faces numerous troubles during adolescence. Things get complicated when Aihara Miwako, played by Goriki, a mysterious classmate, attempts to get close to Haru. At the same time, Haru begins having feelings for Ibuki Kenji, played by Inoue Masahiro, a member of the soccer club.
