In the Head delves into a bewildering turn of events when Yeon Joo, a judge at a film festival, discovers a short film by Seon Min that uncannily mirrors her personal screenplay. Their journey begins by meeting the visually impaired couple featured in Seon Min's film, where they also experience a powerful reading play by a visually impaired person. Further seeking answers, they travel to Woljeongsa Temple, a prominent location from Seon Min's movie. An encounter with a monk there unexpectedly reveals a shared connection between Yeon Joo and Seon Min, yet fails to resolve their fundamental misunderstanding. The two part ways, and Yeon Joo decides to visit Director Kim, the male protagonist from the film, hoping to finally unravel the mystery of their intertwined stories.
