Description:

"Ima, Boku wa Uso wo Tsuiteiru" is a compelling independent film that follows Hideharu Eto, a former member of a theater company, as he participates in a YouTube video project. Their ambitious goal is to investigate an ancient urban legend concerning a monster that devours travelers, leading them to a remote inn with historical ties to the Edo Period. What starts as a creative endeavor soon spirals into a horrific struggle for survival. During the video shoot, the mythical monster materializes, brutally murdering Hideharu's friends one by one. Amidst the escalating death and terror, Hideharu makes a harrowing escape from the inn. Desperate for assistance, he reaches out to a police officer, initiating a grim investigation into the supernatural killings and the sinister truth behind the legend.
