Description:

Begins Youth chronicles the journey of seven young boys navigating their complex school years and personal development. Each boy grapples with significant challenges including family obligations, profound loss, poverty, abandonment, violence, and rejection, shaping their tumultuous path to adulthood. After an unwanted return to Songjusi, Kim Hwan, an outsider, initially faces suspicion and misunderstandings from the other six boys. Despite these early conflicts, they gradually forge a strong bond, opening their hearts to each other. They travel, play, and share their deepest problems, finding healing and support in their shared struggles and similar family issues. Hwan, confronting his own emotions, grows fond of Songjusi and cherishes their time together, wishing it could last forever. However, Hwan's father, Chang Jun, disapproves of the boys, deeming them useless and demanding Hwan distance himself. This ultimatum pushes Hwan, known for his obedience, to raise his voice for the first time, confronting his own feelings and challenging his father's expectations.
