As Chen Mian relentlessly pursues her dream, she finally earns the approval of her father, Chen Jingye. This unfolds a hidden past, revealing that Chen Jingye and Zheng Kai Xin were once close friends and teammates on the national squad. Their bond was tested and ultimately broken by the immense pressure to win gold. "Beyond" showcases how the new generation, represented by Chen Mian, inherits the spirit of sportsmanship, ready to proudly represent China at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
