Description:

In "A Traveler's Needs," a mysterious woman, claiming to be from France, finds herself without money or support, living her days on a park bench and playing a child's recorder. Advised to teach French as a means of survival, she gathers two Korean women as her unlikely pupils. Despite her efforts, life remains persistently hard. She finds solace in unconventional habits, walking barefoot, lying on rocks, and striving to perceive each instant nonverbally while attempting to live as rationally as possible. To cope with the daily struggles, she regularly relies on makgeolli, the Korean alcoholic drink, for a moment of comfort. The film paints a poignant picture of a traveler's resilient spirit, exploring her unique journey through hardship and her quest for meaning and stability in an unfamiliar world.
