Description:

During the early days of the Korean War, the US army faces a chaotic retreat toward the southern city of Pusan. Amidst the panic, soldiers order the peaceful villagers of Jogunri to evacuate immediately. Carrying their children and pulling heavy ox carts, nearly 500 villagers flee their homes, heading toward safety. However, paranoia spreads quickly among the American forces, who suspect that disguised North Korean soldiers are hiding among the civilian refugees. As the innocent crowd nears the village of Nogunri, disaster strikes. An American warplane suddenly bombs the helpless civilians, initiating a horrific sequence of events. In the terrifying chaos, US soldiers herd the 400 survivors into a narrow cave under a bridge. Trapped and defenseless, the villagers face devastating gunfire from the very soldiers. A Little Pond is a powerful war drama that depicts this devastating civilian massacre, where only 25 survivors miraculously managed to escape the brutal violence.
