Description:

A Balloon's Landing follows Hong Kong writer Tian Yu on a solo journey to Taipei, seeking solace and the mythical Bay of Vanishing Whales. His quest takes an unexpected turn when he befriends A Xiang, a warmhearted local gangster. Despite initial reservations, Tian Yu finds himself drawn into an adventure with A Xiang, discovering inspiration and an unexpected lightness in his heart through their companionship. However, their bond faces a test when A Xiang mysteriously misses the anticipated Kenting Fireworks Festival, leaving Tian Yu disappointed. The truth behind A Xiang's absence soon comes to light, revealing a destiny that connects their paths far beyond mere chance.
