In 1946, ZeeOui, a young immigrant from China, arrives in Thailand hoping for a better life in Rayong province. Carrying only a knife inherited from his mother, he faces relentless bullying, isolation, and severe illness. Desperate, weak, and homesick, his mind fractures under pressure. To regain his strength and escape insecurity, ZeeOui turns to a horrific ritual: killing children to consume their hearts and livers. To the villagers, however, he is just a harmless, goofy man who can barely speak Thai. This deception shatters in January 1958 when another local boy goes missing. Villagers break into ZeeOuis house and catch him red-handed with the child’s dissected remains. He is immediately arrested, confesses to his crimes, and receives the death penalty, supposedly bringing peace back to society. Yet, a chilling question remains: if the monster was caught and executed, why do children still go missing and end up murdered?
