Description:

In the emotional action film Zatoichi: The Last Days, the legendary traveler Ichi decides to put away his famous cane sword forever. Yearning for peace, he returns to his home village to settle down and build a quiet, simple life alongside his loving wife, Tane. Unfortunately, his hopes for a peaceful retirement are quickly shattered. The oppressive Tendo clan has taken complete control of the village, relentlessly harassing and terrorizing the local residents. As the oppression grows worse, a desperate group of local farmers approaches Ichi. Knowing his legendary past, they beg him to stand up and save his own home village, just as he has helped countless other villages during his long travels. Ichi must now make a difficult choice between his vow of peace and his duty to protect those he loves. Will he retrieve his cane sword for one final battle?
