The Japanese movie Yureru, also known as Sway, is a gripping drama about brotherhood, lies, and betrayal. The story revolves around two brothers who find themselves on opposing sides in a tense court case following the mysterious death of their childhood friend. Minori, played by Kagawa Teruyuki, runs a family gas station in Yamanshi. Meanwhile, his younger brother Takeru, played by Odagiri Joe, is a successful photographer living in Tokyo. During a family reunion, Takeru returns home, and the brothers decide to go hiking. Joining them is Chieko, played by Makimura Yoko, their childhood friend. However, the trip turns into a tragedy when Chieko falls to her death. As the investigation begins, it remains unclear whether her death was a tragic accident or a cold-blooded murder. The subsequent courtroom battle forces the two brothers to face each other, gradually revealing deep-seated secrets and their true personalities under pressure.
