Description:

Yume no California is a poignant youth drama that follows the lives of three former junior high school classmates: Shu, Kotomi, and Keiko. Years after their school days, each of them finds themselves trapped in a state of disillusionment and dissatisfaction. Shu is a senior at a low-ranked university, facing an uncertain future. Kotomi works hard as a struggling model but cannot seem to catch her big break. Meanwhile, Keiko is stuck in a monotonous desk job at a small company. Feeling lost and unable to find a way forward, they are all desperately searching for a better path in life. Capturing the real-world conflicts and anxieties of todays youth, this moving story shows how the three reunite and turn to each other for emotional support. Together, Shu, Kotomi, and Keiko embark on a shared journey to overcome their struggles and discover the true meaning in their lives.
