In Yowakutemo Katemasu, Tamo Aoshi becomes a substitute teacher at his prestigious alma mater, a private high school that sends hundreds of students to Tokyo University each year. Soon, Aoshi takes charge of the school's incredibly weak baseball club. This unique team has only five members, has never won a single game, and struggles to throw a ball more than nine times without dropping it. Terrified of the infield, they practice only three hours a week, dedicating the rest of their time to intense studying. Despite their lack of skill, their love for the sport is undeniable. Seeing them as fascinating creatures, Aoshi decides to lead them to victory using his offbeat theory that triumph is possible even for the weak. Guided by his unconventional coaching style, this determined team sets their sights on the annual nationwide high school baseball championship with their own preposterous brand of baseball.
