The drama Yottsu no Uso follows the complex lives of four women in their around 40 generation, bound by a web of betrayal and deception. Shifumi is an attractive woman who famously stole her classmate's boyfriend, Keishi, during high school. Despite facing criticism, she married him and had a child, only to divorce later. Currently, Shifumi keeps a younger boyfriend. Meanwhile, her three former classmates lead different lives: Makiko is an ordinary housewife, Neri is a work-focused doctor, and Miwa is a housewife secretly having an affair with Keishi, Shifumi's ex-husband. As their paths cross, the hidden truths and complicated relationships of these four women begin to unravel. Eventually, the various secrets and lies kept by the four women all come to light, shattering their carefully constructed lives.
