Yoiko no Mikata is an inspiring drama about breaking gender stereotypes. While most young boys dream of becoming pilots or firemen, twenty-year-old Taiyo Suzuki has always harbored a different dream. Inspired by his own childhood educator, Taiyo aspires to become a nursery school teacher. After passing his exams, the bright-eyed young man enters a completely female-dominated profession. He secures a temporary position at Himawari Nursery School, filling in for a teacher on maternity leave. With only a few months to prove his worth, Taiyo faces intense skepticism and opposition from both the female staff and the children’s mothers.
