In the romantic drama Woman on the Beach, director and writer JungRae Kim SeungWoo needs to escape the city to Shinduri to focus on his new script. He convinces his friend ChangWook Kim TaeWoo to drive him there, even though ChangWook has a date. ChangWook agrees on the condition that he can bring MoonSook Ko HyunJung along. Once they arrive, a mutual attraction quickly sparks between the director and MoonSook, who is a big fan of his work. After MoonSook clarifies her relationship status with ChangWook, she and JungRae spend a passionate night together. However, the next day, a conflicted JungRae flees back to Seoul. Unable to stay away, the director soon returns to Shinduri, leaving desperate messages for MoonSook. While waiting, he meets another woman who strongly resembles MoonSook and becomes involved with her, unaware that MoonSook has also just returned to the beach town.
