"Woman of Water" tells the compelling story of Ryo, a woman whose life is inextricably linked to water, with significant events always accompanied by rain. She once shared a happy life running a bathhouse with her fiancé. However, tragedy strikes when her fiancé is killed in a car crash during a fierce rainstorm, leaving Ryo heartbroken and utterly isolated. The bathhouse, a symbol of their life together, is subsequently closed as Ryo retreats into solitude.

Her quiet existence is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of a mysterious man, Yusaku Asano, whom she finds in her home. Yusaku is a pyromaniac with an intense passion for fire, an ironic contrast to Ryo's affinity for water. Despite their differences, Ryo enlists his help to keep the bathhouse's furnace burning. A deep love blossoms between them, and the bathhouse remarkably reopens, flourishing once more. However, their newfound happiness is threatened by Yusaku's dark and troubling past, which soon resurfaces and threatens to destroy everything they've built.
