Who's The Hero is a gripping gambling drama following Tenson (Julian Cheung ChiLam), who was abandoned in a casino as a baby and destined for a life of high-stakes betting. Growing up as a reckless gambler, Tenson steals his foster parents' savings and nearly forces his fiancée, Ada Choi, into prostitution to pay off his massive debts. His life takes a turn when a swindler teaches him advanced cheating skills. With the support of a wealthy casino tycoon's widow, Tenson rises to become the man in charge of the casino. However, this success brings danger. Jack (Gregory Wong), the widow's son, falls in love with Tenson's fiancée and views Tenson's rising power as a threat. Fueled by jealousy, Jack plots to reclaim his dominance and defeat Tenson in a final showdown at the gambling table.
