In Water Boys s2, Himeno High School remains a female-dominated school three years after becoming co-ed. Everything changes when Eikichi Mizushima, a talented swimmer, transfers from Tokyo to live with his grandfather Kamekichi. Inspired by Eikichi's arrival, Yosuke Yamamoto attempts to establish a boys' sports club. He gathers a unique group of boys, including Senichi Kawasaki, the handsome Iwao Iwata, and the wealthy Hideki Sano. Eikichi's presence quickly inspires the boys to change their way of thinking. However, they must deal with a variety of local personalities, including the feared student president Kayo Oba, wind ensemble member Kozue Kitagawa, and resident Shiori Yazawa. To make matters harder, teachers like Natsuko Ohara strongly oppose men's synchronized swimming, while Haruka Koshino openly dislikes men. Supported by substitute teacher Hijiri Saotome and the suspicious coffee shop owner Kozo Kasuya, the boys must unite to prove themselves in this entertaining youth drama.
