Watashi no Otto wa: Ano Ko no Koibito explores the painful realities of marital betrayal and the emergence of unexpected romance. Kaori enjoys a seemingly perfect relationship with her husband, Takuya, until subtle changes hint at trouble. Her best friend, Yuki, uncovers Takuya's secret online account, brimming with posts that strongly suggest an affair. Kaori's investigation soon identifies Mishima Mutsumi as the woman Takuya is involved with. Determined to end the infidelity, Kaori confronts Mutsumi's husband, Kyosuke, proposing a joint effort to separate their unfaithful spouses. Kyosuke agrees, but only under a shocking condition: Kaori must sleep with him. As they begin their clandestine surveillance of Takuya and Mutsumi, Kaori and Kyosuke unexpectedly embark on their own forbidden affair.
