Description:

"Till the Day I Can Laugh About My Blues" tells the story of Ayako, a lonely junior high student ostracized by her classmates, who often retreats to a secluded, dimly lit staircase at school. Her solitary life takes an unexpected turn when she receives a magical kaleidoscope from a mysterious shop called Nandemoya. The following day, looking through the kaleidoscope at school, a forbidden door magically opens, leading her to the rooftop. There, Ayako encounters Aina, another student who also possesses an identical kaleidoscope.

Aina has been attending school in isolation for the past year, and the two girls, sharing similar experiences of loneliness, quickly form a profound connection. As their friendship blossoms, Ayako begins to regain her lost smile. However, a chilling rumor circulates about the ghost of a student who tragically jumped to their death from the school rooftop. While Ayako and Aina spend a delightful and unforgettable summer, becoming irreplaceable to each other, Ayako harbors unsettling doubts, wondering if Aina might somehow be connected to the spectral whispers surrounding the school.
