Description:

Umi no Hajimari follows Tsukioka Natsu, a 28-year-old single man working for a Tokyo printing company. His quiet life is upended by the news of Nagumo Mizuki's death, his university girlfriend who mysteriously broke up with him and disappeared seven years prior. Attending her funeral, Tsukioka Natsu is stunned to meet a young child named Umi, who he soon learns is Mizuki's daughter. The true shock arrives when Mizuki's mother reveals that Umi is, in fact, his own child.
