Description:

In an alternate 2007-2010, Earth is plagued by giant monsters and conquering aliens, fulfilling an apocalyptic prophecy. To confront this threat, the TPC and its branch GUTS are established. Researchers with GUTS discover a holographic message leading them to a golden pyramid containing three ancient giant statues, protectors of early human civilization from 30 million years ago. Monsters Golza and Melba destroy two statues, but officer Daigo, a descendant of the ancient race, merges with the third, becoming Ultraman Tiga. A prophecy reveals a great evil, Gatanothor, previously responsible for destroying the ancient civilization. This evil reappears, easily defeating Tiga and reverting him to a statue. However, the collective light of humanity transforms him into Glitter Tiga, providing the power to defeat Gatanothor and save Earth. Though Daigo can no longer become Tiga, its energy now resides in the hearts of all who believe, poised to revitalize the statue during times of despair.
