In Hoshimoto City, the colossal Monohorn, a remnant from the global KDay kaiju incident 16 years prior, remains a mystery. Since KDay, the Global Defense Force has combated kaiju with force, while SKIP, the Scientific Kaiju Investigation and Prevention center, focuses on scientific research and community safety, also investigating Monohorn. Rookie SKIP investigator Yuma, assigned to Hoshimoto City, miraculously survived a kaiju attack as a child during KDay, an experience that led him to pursue kaiju biology. Despite his traumatic past, Yuma maintains a vivid imagination. When a new large-scale kaiju disaster strikes, Yuma's desperate desire to protect people awakens. He hears Rution, a being of light he remembers from his childhood, calling him to unleash his imagination. Fusing with a mystic light, Yuma transforms into Ultraman Arc, the Giant of Light. Alongside his precious friends, Ultraman Arc protects the future, pursuing an everlasting dream.
