Ultra Galaxy: Mega Monster Battle introduces the 24th exciting entry in the long-running Ultra Series, adapting the popular video game. Set an astounding 500,000 years after Earth's monster era concluded and humanity began its expansion into outer space during a period known as the Galaxy Crisis, the story begins. The crew of the Space Pendragon is assigned a critical mission: investigate Planet Boris after its communications mysteriously cease. Upon reaching the planet, they are shocked to discover it overrun by monsters, with every nearby city utterly destroyed. Forced to await reinforcements, the crew must unravel the profound mystery behind this planet's alarming state. Their efforts are soon joined by a skilled monster tamer named Rei, whose enigmatic past drives him to join ZAP Spacy in hopes of rediscovering his lost memories.
